Why do MailChimp Lists get updated only after registration closes?

Due to a few factors, uploading the lists periodically to MailChimp is not ideal. First of all, we must make sure that everyone who has 'opted-in' to Booster Club Communications makes the team, has their relevant medical info and properly dated physical uploaded, and does not quit prior to the end of tryouts.  Each individual's registration passes through the hands of Janelle Weems who must manually update everyone's registration status.  To avoid adding individuals who were 'disqualified' from the sport for various reasons, we postpone updating the list until everyone has been verified.  We will add every email to the relevant lists within 48 Hours of registration closure and verification completion.  It is possible that your team's coach will have a more up-to-date list of individuals who have all of the criteria met.  It is also an option for you, or a coach to manually add any individuals to the MailChimp account who are not already there.  Keep in mind that the MailChimp lists are not necessarily everyone on the team, as they must opt-in to the Booster Club Communications.  We have had a high rate of opt-ins (over 90%).  When registration closes and verification is complete, I can let you know if your team has any 'opt-outs'  who would need to be talked to in person, as I am unable to share their contact info.

Can I set up a one-on-one training session?

Yes. You can schedule a one-hour individual training session or a three-hour group session. To schedule a training session, please Email Support@AHSWarriors.org with the subject line "In Person Training"
